Important Information

This guide is provided as a general reference only.

If unsure, we recommend professional installation, especially for larger decals, as we cannot replace decals damaged by improper installation or use.

Do not install in cold or damp conditions; a minimum temperature of 15°C is recommended.

Adhesive takes up to 24 hours to fully cure, and exposure to cold or moisture during this time may cause peeling.

Avoid getting the decal wet for at least 48 hours after installation.

For rear windscreen decals, do not use wiper blades until the decal has fully cured.

Chrome, Glitter, and Flip decals must be installed dry only—Do not attempt to wet install.

Step 1: Surface prep

Clean the surface thoroughly to remove all dirt, dust, grease, waxes, or coatings, as these can prevent adhesion. We recommend using a clean microfibre cloth with isopropyl rubbing alcohol. If needed, soap and hot water can be used—just be sure to rinse well to avoid residue. Do not use glass cleaners, as they often leave a slick coating that can cause peeling or bubbles. Ensure the surface is completely dry before moving to Step 2.

Step 2: Sticker Prep

Prepare the sticker for application by firmly rubbing the felt edge of the squeegee over the decal, pressing the transfer tape against the vinyl. If you don’t have a squeegee this can be done using a microfiber cloth. This removes any air bubbles that may have formed in transit and allows the sticker to cling to the transfer tape. Although we prep them ourselves before sending, they can move during shipping which is perfectly normal.

  • Apply moderate pressure, too much pressure may damage the application tape.
  • We sell  Squeegees.

Step 3: Best Location for you

Measure and mark where you want to place your sticker using a tape measure and masking tape if needed. This step is optional but recommended, especially for larger decals, as stickers cannot be repositioned once applied. Take your time to ensure the placement is correct before continuing.

Step 4: Peel away slowly

Slowly peel the paper backing away from the sticker. If the vinyl sticks to the backing, gently replace it and repeat Step 2. For small or intricate areas, use your fingers to help the vinyl adhere to the transfer tape. Take your time to avoid tearing. Peel at a 45-degree angle, working from right to left for best results.

Step 5: And….Place!

Apply the sticker to the surface and press it down firmly, working from the center outward using a squeegee or clean microfibre cloth. Smooth out any air bubbles toward the edges (a pin can be used for larger bubbles if needed). Use moderate pressure only, especially if using a credit card. For best results, allow 10–15 minutes for the sticker to adhere before moving to the next step, and gently press around intricate areas by hand if required.

Step 6: Finish line!

Slowly peel the application tape away, keeping it parallel to the surface or at a shallow angle. Avoid pulling upward, as this may lift the sticker. If the vinyl starts to peel, press it back down and repeat the previous step. If it continues to lift, the surface may be contaminated and preventing adhesion.

Once complete, step back and admire your handiwork! 🎉
